"How Can I Not Write"--Video Blog #3

For my people, I'll put every pebble, rock, stone, brick, and boulder/ on my shoulders to make sure that the we don't die or get any older/ I’m like an Eskimo with an excessive flow/ which makes me stretch the glow to illuminate and bless the globe/ I’m destined to blaze the skies like shooting stars/ I’m too involved, I can't not be hungry for success since I'm feeling starved/ so I constantly write nutritious bars that become food for thought/ I’m grooving lost, I don't need directions to destiny cus I’m helplessly caught/ entrapped in the tangles of fantasies that I try to seduce and finagle/ I persuade the days to dream of plans that'll have me a happy ending like fables/ so I started with the man in the mirror and the fog lifted and it got clearer/ my adrenaline rushes me to accomplishment since my dreams got nearer/ and when I do peer up, I tear up/ knowing that my success aint just the result of shear luck/ I’ve waged war on myself, I’m my own enemy/ and my inner me releases intentions so secretly that I wonder how these desires got into me/ of poems, I'ma write the rightest writing/ loosen the grip of the tightest vice/ turn every wrong right and liven up saddened sighs/ add the muscle to weak tries and wave hello to every goodbye/ for life's necessary losses, I’m welcoming change/ if it doesn't hurt it doesn't help, so I’m looking for the gains from pain/ I’ve went through the shame, the strain, I’ve went through the games/ I free the flyest rhymes from my rib cage and I aint being a bird brain/ my passion is burning, forcing my arsenic penning/ I’m a pyromaniac killing verses like the fall of lined lemmings/ I’m dressed up but won't slack cus it's in my genes to fulfill dreams/ you can intervene my stream if you want to face up to the guillotine/ I do more that edit flows, I perform reconstructive surgery/ so that my books of oaths can lie on stands without the purgery/ my whole existence is based on persistence/ integrity's integrated in my pedigree and each sentence is authentic/ Ste'phane is elevating to greatness, alleviating the fakeness/ robbery-proofing his style, kleptomaniacs can't take it/ I color and paint pictures without the brush/ when it's hush, hush, silent musicals forces my muses to blush/ I’ve held my brain enslaved, chained to past blame/ I owe my self reparations since my views were mis-aimed/ so with that known, how can I not write right, my life's typed/ when my plights ice, and cool into hot verses that light like bright nights/ my rhetoric becomes the tools of a better kit/ a genuine type leather fit and I wave a pen that I can change the weather with/ and I'll give her a cane if I end up hurting Mother Nature/ I'm all for the preservation of trees but my mental windows seek more paper/ my soul is in the pen that draws blue print plans in black ink/ I'm staring at my future in a permanent stare, I can't blink

-Big ups to everybody that swings by to check me out. From Tess to Still, from Tink to Random, Sense I see you man. If you see me in ya comment box with a flow, know that I'm inspired by your flow. I aint trying to upstage you or anything like that. I LOVE to write and I seek topics for flows ALL THE TIME. I have 100 flash cards that I shuffle to create a different combination of topics, styles, and point of view. Concluding, to all my writers, keep writing and writing until you're tired of writing and then write some more. READ, READ, READ, READ, and READ more books. Guys, write as a girl. Girls, write as a guy. Be a tree, be the clouds, be the computer that looks at you while you punch on it; what would it say. THINK. DO. BE

Rhetoric-bout to buy a 5 subject notebook and write a 50 page story from the perspective of '5' subjects. Man, lol, let me take a nap and get back to the pad.

Ste'phane-there's no store in the galaxy that will allow you return your God given gift. USE your talent

The gun is my pen, in war my pen is my gun- Sergeant Jargon getting ready to hunt down another fugitive rhyme. (Dates on the pictures are not accurate)

@Stillpoetic - thanks man. man i surf around xanga and if i like what i read on ya site then i'ma drop on sight. i like the part where i say i free fly rhymes from my rib cage and i aint being a bird brain because this poetic thing is in my heart man. i'd actually open my rib cage just to let my heart's desires fly. man i get crazy analytical when i write poems. i write and connect more analogies then people can pick up during their first read so being that i would like to be understood i give the whole piece replay value. i write poems like i make love man; i ease into, build momentum, then i climax. all the while pleasing the reader. i think some way out thoughts man and i'ma prove it in "Eternal Kiss". This $#!+ is so mind blowing and so intricate in its construction that i wonder who wrote most of it cus i damn sure don't remember writing it. thats why i say "I’ve waged war on myself, I’m my own enemy/ and my inner me releases intentions so secretly that I wonder how these desires got into me" cus i get into a trance-like state and zone out. i dropped tinkerbell 3 flows in 10 minutes and those are solid freestyle drops with a beginning middle and end with substance inextricably woven in all parts. man Still, get those journals edited, recopyright em, and press em up man. it's costing me a lil bread to get this publishing company started and to design my whole book from stratch and get the isbn numbers but it's worth it. keep writing man, you got good concept relation in ya writing so put it out man. Peace

For me this showed your passion for what you do so well. I felt like i learned more about you when i read this.

"I’m dressed up but won't slack cus it's in my genes to fulfill dreams"

Your word play is beautiful. I like how your mind thinks.

This piece is incredibly inspiring, seeing the love you have for the gift you've been giving and the work you put into it is amazing. Its really something that a person like me needed to read to get back on track.

Thanks.

@RandomReverie - man o man. thanks for the props. i like those lines because of what i don't say. it's about the connotation of the lines and not necessarily the direct meaning of em. i appreciate the props and your 'watchful' eyes.

@Tinkerbell1083 - listen here honey. you gone get back on track at your own pace. you're gonna have to express yourself before you can express yourself. that line that you like aint just in my genes, it's in your genes too but a lot of young women think that what's in their jeans is how they'll fulfill their dreams. so backwards. it's my first day in school tomorrow so i'll be a lil erratic with my posts. but i'll be around sittin on my throne of poems wearing my crown of nouns smoking on the finest verbs you can find. Peace. love to Random and Tink, Still and everybody.

Sometimes you have to disappear before people can see you
